Summary

ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTHCARE & FACILITIES, LLC

San Antonio, TX

The Business Development Analyst supports the Environmental, Healthcare & Facilities (EH&F) Business Development team through opportunity research, market analysis, pipeline management, capture support, and business intelligence activities. This position assists in identifying, evaluating, and tracking federal contracting opportunities; maintaining the accuracy and integrity of business development systems and data; developing analytical reports and leadership briefings; and supporting capture and proposal efforts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, intellectually curious, and capable of organizing complex information into concise, actionable recommendations that support business decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Works directly with the Business Development SVP, Director and executive management teams to identify, evaluate, and track new business opportunities and support capture activities throughout the business development lifecycle.

  • Supports the BD Team with capability presentations, conference preparation, market research, and business development initiatives.

  • Identifies new business opportunities by performing research and analysis utilizing GovWin IQ, SAM.gov, Unison Marketplace, FedConnect, and Federal Supplier Portals, GSA Schedules and other business intelligence systems.

  • Reviews opportunities, develops analytical assessments of potential contracts to bid, and produces business development reports, dashboards, and contributes to leadership briefings.

  • Supports strategy development, competitive intelligence gathering, opportunity qualification efforts, and the use of AI-enabled tools to improve research and analytical processes.

  • Supports industry conferences, site visits and industry days

  • Supports pipeline management by creating, populating, updating, and maintaining opportunity records within CRM systems based on business intelligence and procurement data sources.

  • Coordinates and participates in meetings, data calls, assignments with internal and external stakeholders while documenting key decisions, action items, and business development updates.

  • Supports the Business Development Director, capture teams, and proposal teams, as required.

  • Supports responses to Requests for Information (RFI), Sources Sought, Solicitations/Requests for Proposals (RFP)/Requests for Quotes (RFQs)/Task Orders, through research, data collection, document analysis, review, and editing.

  • Maintains the accuracy and completeness of business development systems, opportunity records, reports, and related documentation.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in marketing, business administration, management, communications, data analytics, or a related field. experience may be considered in lieu of Degree.

  • Minimum two (2) years experience in business development, market research, capture support, business management, government contracting, or process development.

  • Successfully pass background and drug screening

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate analytical findings to stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of federal government procurement processes and the business development lifecycle, including opportunity identification, qualification, capture support, proposal support, and competitive analysis.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.

  • Ability to research, organize, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources into concise reports, summaries, and presentations.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize workload, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience working with CRM systems, business intelligence platforms, and data management tools.

  • Experience utilizing AI-enabled tools to improve research, reporting, data analysis, and process efficiency.

  • Experience conducting research, analyzing data, and preparing reports, summaries, or presentations to support business decision-making

  • Knowledge and understanding of Facilities, Healthcare, Environmental, Logistics, or other federal services markets, Preferred.

  • Experience using GovWin IQ, SAM.gov, USAspending.gov, VantagePoint, Salesforce, CaptureExec, or similar federal contracting and business intelligence platforms, Preferred.

  • Experience supporting opportunity qualification, capture activities, competitive assessments, and proposal efforts, Preferred.

  • Experience with federal procurement systems Preferred.

  • Sufficient fine motor skill for use of computers, calculator with an ability to withstand repetitive keyboarding for extended periods of time

  • Ability to kneel bend and twist at the waist on an occasional basis,

  • Ability to push, pull, carry and lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds on a regular basis and more on an occasional basis

  • Ability to travel by plane and safely operate a motor vehicle
