Job Description

A day in the life as a Teacher:

Leverage Goddard's Wonder of Learning curriculum to create and deliver engaging activities that foster children’s curiosity and learning.

Build lasting relationships with both students and parents, celebrating every little milestone! Daily communication with parents at drop-off and pick-up.

Supervise a class of children at ratio while maintaining a safe and nurturing learning environment.

Work in a clean, modern facility with 3 playgrounds, a gym, an outdoor classroom, kitchen, and faculty office.

Enjoy a team environment where you’re supported by dedicated directors and fellow teachers.

Engage with the school community in events like our Fall Festival, Carnivals, Summer Picnic, Parents' Night Out, and more.

Interact with other childcare professionals and continue to grow in your profession.

What we’re looking for:

Experience is a plus, but we value passion and dedication just as much! If you’re enthusiastic about working with children, we’d love to hear from you

High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred for Lead Teacher position

Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred

1-2 years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred

Someone who’s dependable, positive, and works well in a team and without a lot of supervision.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children. For Infant Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.
