Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Full-Time Residential Shift

What You’ll Do

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide hands-on support while helping individuals live active, meaningful lives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide daily support and supervision to adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities

  • Assist with personal care and promote independence in daily living skills

  • Transport individuals to community outings, appointments, and recreational activities

  • Plan and participate in engaging activities such as arts & crafts, cooking, games, and outings

  • Support community involvement through volunteering, shopping trips, and social events

  • Maintain accurate daily documentation using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system

  • Work collaboratively with team members to create a safe, positive, and engaging environment

What a Typical Day Looks Like

  • Exploring parks, beaches, or local attractions

  • Hosting a backyard BBQ or game night

  • Volunteering in the community

  • Going on shopping trips or movie outings

  • Enjoying creative activities like arts, crafts, or cooking
