Description
Job Title: HR Administrative Specialist (Part Time)
Summary
The HR Administrative Specialist works as a part-time employee of Zeiders Enterprises at the corporate headquarters in Woodbridge, VA. The position is primarily responsible for supporting the HR administrative functions in accordance with appropriate company objectives and policies.
Ideal schedule for someone who is looking to work part time with mid-day office hours and this is 100% in the office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Must be detail oriented and high degree of accuracy and discretion with confidential materials

Employee Support
-
Takes general calls and emails from employees and advises them with high degree of customer service
-
Supports Human Resources general help desk coverage activities to answer employee questions and route requests to the appropriate Subject Matter Expert

Supports employee verifications as needed
-
Works closely with new hires with technical assistance as necessary to HRIS, and any follow up with employees as needed.

Systems Support

Life cycle of employee processing and support as needed in HRIS system

E-verify Administration Duties for new hires when necessary

General HR/Administrative Support
-
General HR correspondence support for all employee actions such as hires, reviews, transfer and separation letters.

Create and maintains digital Employee Folders and Employee Personnel filing
-
Create New Hire collaterals and mailings
-
Administrative support for recognition programs
-
Additional Quality Assurance review for materials as needed

Back up for the front desk reception needs as needed
-
Provide surge support for special projects as assigned

Other duties as assigned
Required Education and/or Experience Qualifications
-
Associate’s degree (A. A.) in Humanities (e.g. HR, English, Communications, etc.)
-
WITH one year Human Resources or customer service experience in an office setting
-
OR 3+ years’ experience in an office environment with customer service focus.
-
Microsoft office proficiency with advanced experience in Word and Excel.
-
Must be very detail oriented and extremely customer focused.
-
HRIS or previous database experience, UltiPro experience preferable.
-
Successful candidate must be able to work well in a team as well as a strong independent contributor and able to work in a fast paced environment
-
Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills.

Preference for Military spouses, Veteran or background with a military affiliation!
