Job Description

  • Manages and coordinates all local activities of the conveyor belt production process

  • Ensures the realization of production processes, ie the production of semi-finished and finished products in accordance with the company's procedures and customer requirements.

  • Translates the company's production strategy into action plans and ensures their implementation

  • Contributions to the strategic and operational planning of the company (eg in terms of investment, capacity and planning of the number of employees)

  • Initiates and implements activities for continuous improvement by applying CBS methods and training measures

  • Participates in global or local production projects and projects that require cross-functional cooperation

  • Implements and conducts activities in accordance with the established budget

  • Ensures the realization of financial goals

  • Participates in the development of annual and monthly operational production plans

  • Prepares periodic reports on the realization of production and performance of workers, monitors and analyzes the realization of production from the aspect of achieved quality and utilization and availability of production capacities and proposes measures for improvement

  • Participates in activities for the development of new products and services

  • Performs tasks provided by the documents of the quality management system, in accordance with the education, the necessary knowledge and skills

  • Ensures the improvement of the efficiency of the organization by assisting in the implementation of training initiatives, planning, implementation, coordination and monitoring of all training and development programs and strategies

  • Provides establishment (develops and compiles training manuals and documents), implementation and updating of technical training programs

  • Ensures that the qualification catalog is up to date

  • Ensures local application of production standards

  • Monitors the application and respects the prescribed safety and health measures at work and fire protection measures

  • Actively participates in risk assessment for safety, health at work and environmental protection

  • Manage product specific ramp-up or change projects (e.g. team setup, interfacing to business / customer organization, project planning and control, etc.) for e.g. new / relocated production processes according to BU specific standards

  • Identify and implement product optimization potential in running articles in alignment with R&D PI according to standards

  • Proactive solving of quality issues regarding customer complaints and reject rate (in close cooperation with Q) according to BU specific standards

  • Identify and implement technical production processes optimization potential regarding quality, efficiency and capability according to standards

  • Performs all duties in accordance with the laws and positive regulations arising from them: the Law on Safety and Health at Work, the Law on Fire Protection, the Law on Environmental Protection, the Law on Waste Management

  • In its domain, it participates in the process of structured problem solving in A3 or 8D format

Qualifications

  • University degree, preferably in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or related discipline

  • 3 or more years of professional experience in various process engineering functions

  • English language
