Evaluate and administer tax exemption opportunities, exemption certificates, and related compliance requirements. Partner with procurement, supply chain, finance, legal, and project teams to ensure tax requirements are incorporated into project execution plans. Review contracts, invoices, purchase transactions, and pricing structures to verify proper tax treatment. Research complex tax issues and provide recommendations to project stakeholders. Support tax audits, assessments, exemption reviews, and interactions with tax authorities. Develop tax guidance, procedures, controls, and documentation to support compliance. Monitor legislative and regulatory changes that may impact project execution and procurement activities. Assist project teams in understanding tax obligations and potential financial impacts associated with project decisions.
