Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Duties

  • You will prepare reports (e.g., base loading, inventory, usage, and occupancy) to provide housing trends and decision tools to command and regional program managers.
  • You will prepare appropriate housing reports or documentation concerning occupancy, vacancy, placement or other related activities.
  • You will advise incoming personnel on types of housing available (e.g., eligibility for number of bedrooms, turn-down options, tenant rights and obligations, procedures) for on and off base moves.
  • You will collaborate with management officials (e.g., public and private housing representatives, law enforcement agencies) to maintain effective working relationships with community organizations affecting off-base housing.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensuring proper customer service and compliance with appropriate mandates of the Housing Program; 2) Interpreting housing directives, regulations, policies and procedures and explains them to military personnel; 3) Processing requests for permanent and temporary quarters; and 4) Maintaining appropriate Housing Referral Services (HRS) correspondence, records, timekeeping data, personnel files, directives and procedures, and necessary documentation of actions and processes.
