Full job description

The Revenue Operations Business Process Architect designs and governs scalable, end-to-end revenue processes that enable efficient growth across the revenue organization. This role translates business strategy into standardized operating models that improve efficiency, data integrity, customer experience, and scalability.

Working across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and other growth functions, the Business Process Architect partners with Revenue Operations Business Process Analysts and the Workflow Automation Architect to translate business needs into sustainable operational capabilities. The role defines future-state process architecture, establishes governance standards, and partners with Revenue Operations Product Managers to prioritize improvements and ensure process changes align with enterprise objectives.

Unlike Sales Process Management roles, which primarily focus on seller execution and sales operations, this role owns the design and governance of cross-functional processes spanning the full revenue lifecycle.

This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week onsite at a North America-based office.

Business Process Architecture

  • Design and maintain enterprise business process architectures across the revenue lifecycle.

  • Partner with revenue operations teams to define future-state operating models that improve scalability, efficiency, compliance, and customer experience.

  • Establish enterprise process standards, governance, and design principles.

  • Ensure business processes are designed holistically across organizational and system boundaries.

  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and modernize operational workflows, including AI capabilities.

Process Strategy & Transformation

  • Translate strategic business objectives into operational process improvements.

  • Lead complex cross-functional process redesign initiatives involving multiple business units.

  • Facilitate alignment among business leaders on process ownership, governance, and future-state operating models.

  • Balance business priorities, user experience, operational efficiency, and technology capabilities when designing solutions.

  • Build mid-long term roadmaps for business process maturity and operational transformation.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, Customer Success Operations, Finance, Growth, IT, Product, and Data teams to improve end-to-end business operations.

  • Facilitate executive-level workshops to resolve process gaps, clarify ownership, and align stakeholders around enterprise process standards.

  • Act as the design authority lead for cross-functional revenue operations processes.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish governance frameworks for process ownership, documentation, metrics, and change management.

  • Develop and maintain enterprise process repositories, standards, and documentation.

  • Define process performance metrics and monitor operational effectiveness.

  • Lead ongoing reviews to identify optimization opportunities and recommend strategic improvements.

  • Ensure process changes align with regulatory, compliance, and organizational requirements.

Partnership with Workflow Automation Architect

  • Translate future-state business process designs into implementation-ready operational models.

  • Collaborate on identifying automation opportunities that support standardized business processes.

  • Ensure workflow automation solutions align with revenue operations process architecture and governance standards.

  • Validate that automation initiatives preserve process integrity while improving operational efficiency.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 7–10+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Business Architecture, Business Process Management, Consulting, Operations Strategy, or Business Transformation.

  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise business process redesign initiatives across multiple functions.

  • Experience designing operating models and scalable business processes.

  • Strong understanding of business process governance and organizational design.
