The primary purpose of this position is to provide sustainable integrated logistics support and repeatable world-class customer service in support of the Air Force community. Responsibilities Incumbent is required to work all facets of supply management, equipment management, inventory management, and tool and parts attendant. Provides supply support for production, overhaul, repair, or other operations for equipment and/or parts requiring special handling. Determines stock levels needed for recurring, specialized items based on usage, inventory, project demands, seasonal demands, changing customer needs, and projected depletion. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions. https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=Group-Standards GENERALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience which is equivalent to Federal experience at the next lower grade (GS-04), level, pay band (NJ-01), or equivalent (pay schedule, pay band, etc). Specialized experience which includes knowledge of a wide range of well-established and commonly applied supply principles and concepts, unique supplies, equipment and parts requiring unusual degree of protection in shipment and storage, and determine the best method of procurement and other issues that influence supply functions, operations, program requirements, and work methods. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Knowledge of governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, techniques and methods. Knowledge of supply functions, operations, program requirements, and work methods Knowledge of data entry and processing of supply transactions in an automated supply system. Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents, reports spreadsheets, databases and graphs. Ability to research, compile and analyze supply information and data; receive, screen review, verify and maintain supply documents; and resolve discrepancies. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education ARE YOU USING YOUR EDUCATION TO QUALIFY?
