Material Planner

Job Description

• Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, drive the improvement agenda.

• Develop monthly Production Plan based on Demand input and Capacity situation.

• Establish and maintain a weekly master production schedule to support Production Plan

• Help define and maintain S&OP KPIs and metrics to support continuous improvement.

• Distribute work orders and assist department personnel in obtaining items (drawings, parts, etc.) necessary to complete job operations and job material transactions.

• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to support business initiatives, adjust plans accordingly and communicate supply chain issues and recommendations for resolution.

• Review and maintain master data for legacy and new products for proper planning.

• Communicate shortages to appropriate departments and make recommendations.

Manage running action and issues list, drive issues to closure on a timely basis.

Skills and Requirements

-3-5 years experience as a material planner or production planner in a manufacturing environment

-Experience maintaining production plans, material availability, and aligning with capacity

-Strong experience running shortage reports and managing the master planning schedule

-Experience with ERP systems and excel

-Bachelor's degree
