Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-impact Marketing Technology (MarTech) organization focused on delivering personalized customer experiences at scale. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, data engineering, and customer marketing, helping drive the backend systems that power marketing campaigns, audience segmentation, personalization, and customer engagement across digital channels.

The ideal candidate is a strong backend engineer with deep experience in data-driven applications, cloud technologies, and marketing ecosystems. This individual will play a critical role in designing scalable solutions, integrating complex marketing platforms, and translating business strategy into technical execution.

This is not a heads-down development role. Success requires strong communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to partner with marketing, analytics, and engineering stakeholders to deliver meaningful customer outcomes.

Pay Rate: $60-67/HR

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend development. Strong proficiency in Python and SQL. Hands-on experience designing and supporting data-driven applications and services. Expertise in ETL development, data engineering, and large-scale data processing. Strong understanding of data modeling and database design. Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable, and highly available systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. Experience supporting marketing technology, customer engagement, or personalization platforms. Background working with customer segmentation, campaign management, customer analytics, or loyalty programs. Experience integrating multiple enterprise and marketing technology platforms. Exposure to machine learning and AI-driven marketing solutions. Experience with technologies such as Cassandra, Elasticsearch, React Native, Salesforce, SAP, Sterling OMS, or Workday. Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications and distributed systems.
