IT Controller

Job Duties

IDR is seeking a IT Controller to join one of our top clients for an onsite opportunity in Saint Paul, MN. This role supports financial leadership and governance across IT portfolios within a dynamic organization operating in the technology sector. The position involves a blend of operational accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, compliance, and decision support to ensure the financial health of IT projects and initiatives.

Position Overview for the IT Controller:

Support IT portfolio financial governance, compliance, and financial controls.

Execute forecasting, accruals, journal entries, and variance analysis.

Own and maintain accurate, timely, and transparent portfolio financials.

Identify and escalate financial risks and issues to senior leadership with recommendations.

Develop business cases and support funding requests and investment decisions.

Requirements for the IT Controller:

Minimum 5 years of accounting, finance, or IT-related business controls/process experience.

Strong accounting background with expertise in SAP; SAP BusinessObjects experience is relevant.

Corporate finance or analyst experience is strongly preferred.

Experience with financial forecasting, accruals, journal entries, variance analysis, and reporting.

Understanding of corporate financial controls, GAAP, and regulatory requirements.

Compensation Details: $65-68/hr W2
