Full job description

We are looking for Developer Technology Engineer Intern – HPC to join our team.

For more than two decades, NVIDIA has pioneered at the art and science of visual computing. With our invention of the GPU - the engine of modern parallel computing - the field has expanded to encompass gaming, professional visualization, data center and automobile. More recently, GPU deep learning ignited modern AI - the next era of computing - with the GPU acting as the brain of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. There has never been a more exciting time to join our team than now.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Study and develop data analytics, and perform in-depth analysis and optimization to ensure the best possible performance on current and next-generation GPU architectures.

  • Work directly with key customers to understand the current and future problems they are solving.

  • Collaborate closely with the architecture, research, libraries, tools, and system software teams at NVIDIA to influence the design of next-generation architectures, software platforms, and programming models.

What we need to see:

  • Pursuing BS degree from university in an engineering or computer science related discipline (MS or PhD preferred).

  • Expert mathematical fundamentals, including linear algebra and numerical methods.

  • Strong knowledge of Fortran and/or C/C++.

  • Good communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, good time management, and task prioritization skills.

  • Experience with parallel programming, ideally OpenACC and CUDA C/C++.
