Job Summary:

We are seeking a Logistics Analyst - Junior to join our Supply Chain and Transportation team. In this role, you will support the efficient movement of goods from domestic vendors to distribution centers and stores, ensuring products arrive at the right place and at the right time. You will work closely with carriers, vendors, and internal planning teams to resolve transportation issues, manage shipment activities, and support logistics operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage communication with carriers and vendors via phone and email.

Resolve inbound transportation and logistics issues to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.

Monitor, track, and report shipment delays caused by weather, transportation disruptions, or other operational challenges.

Support daily and weekly transportation reporting activities.

Maintain and manage inbound transportation operational processes.

Monitor shipment compliance and take corrective actions when required.

Evaluate transportation routing options based on transit times, pickup requirements, and operational needs.

Recommend optimal freight solutions utilizing LTL, TL, Intermodal, Consolidation, and Continuous Move transportation methods.

Optimize freight movement by maximizing trailer utilization, reducing route miles, and improving carrier acceptance.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide transportation updates and operational support.

Preferred Qualifications

1-5 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, or relevant internship experience.

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Transportation or freight management experience.

Experience working with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).

Blue Yonder experience is preferred.

Pay Details: $30.10 per hour
