Director of Marketing & Communications – Hospitality Design
We are partnering with a growing upscale hospitality design firm in Nashville to hire their first dedicated Director of Marketing & Communications.
This is a newly created, highly visible role for someone who wants to own the marketing function from the ground up. You'll report directly to the Managing Partner and lead the firm's overall marketing, brand, communications, PR, digital, and content strategy while partnering closely with executive leadership, designers, project management, and branding teams.
What You'll Own
- Develop and execute the firm's overall marketing, communications, and brand strategy
- Lead PR, media relations, editorial opportunities, award submissions, press releases, and industry exposure
- Create proposals, presentations, qualifications packages, project sheets, case studies, and other pursuit materials
- Own website content, SEO, analytics, email marketing, social media, and editorial planning
- Develop compelling copy and storytelling around hospitality projects, company initiatives, and leadership
- Coordinate professional photography, videography, project launches, events, and client-facing marketing
- Partner with leadership on business development, market positioning, and growth initiatives
- Manage marketing vendors, consultants, budgets, calendars, and external creative resources
What We're Looking For
- 8–10+ years of progressive marketing, communications, PR, or brand experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Business, Graphic Design, or related field
- Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Excellent writing, storytelling, branding, and visual communication skills
- Experience in hospitality, architecture, interior design, commercial real estate, or professional services strongly preferred
- Someone creative, hands-on, collaborative, and comfortable both setting the strategy and executing the work
The Details $110–$130K base + potential bonus Hybrid schedule based in Nashville, TN
