What You Can Expect

Entry level sales position responsible for shadowing and supporting a sales team of Reps within an assigned territory. The position will be involved with learning operation, case coverage and sales activities.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Ability to learn and maintain a high level of technical information as it relates to surgery and procedures.

  • Receives and maintains structured product / sales training assessments to transition into an assigned Sales Rep role territory once trained,

  • Gains and maintains an acceptable level of knowledge of the Orthopedic product line along with business objectives, pricing strategies, and proven sales techniques for Orthopedic products Supports the district sales targets by supporting existing accounts as well as developing and executing a plan to develop new business opportunities.

  • Must pass all classroom and on the job training assessments Establishes regular performance evaluations to ensure targeted development of the essential quantitative and qualitative metrics for territory growth (technical/clinical/procedural/relational/financial).

  • Plans, coordinates and ensures all implants and instruments are in place prior to case.

  • Requests implants and instruments necessary to cover designated surgeries through SMS.

  • Post procedure ensures all Zimmer Biomet products used are properly accounted for billing and inventory replenishment.

  • Strictly adheres to all policies and SOPs regarding the interaction with HCP (Health Care Professionals), product handling and complaints, expense reporting, sales activities and training.

  • Develops relationships with internal support personnel.

  • Provides after hour and/or evening case coverage and add on case coverage for team and/or territory. Includes weekend and on-call case coverage and add on case coverage for team and/or territory.

  • Collaborate with and provide sales support for team and/or territory, which includes the transportation of Zimmer Biomet instruments and implants for day, evening, add on or weekend cases.

Your Background

  • Minimum of an Associates degree, medical certification or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Bachelors degree in Sales & Marketing, science, sports medicine or health related field is preferred.

  • Minimum of 0-2 year’s sales or sales service experience in medical device, surgical.
