About the Role

TTI's Global Electronics Sourcing (GES) team is looking for a Global Sourcing Agent to help drive strategic sourcing and procurement execution for the TTi Consumer Power Tools business unit. Reporting to the Director of Global Electronics Sourcing, you'll partner closely with the Sourcing Director to coordinate global demand and manage sourcing activities for critical semiconductor components — including MCUs, ICs, MOSFETs, gate drivers, and a range of sensors.

This is a great opportunity for a sourcing professional who enjoys solving supply chain problems, negotiating with global suppliers, and working cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams on components that go into millions of consumer products.

What You'll Do

Deliver

  • Provide ongoing vendor management support, including forecasting, engineering collaboration, quality problem resolution, and price negotiations.

  • Monitor and analyze supplier capacity, global demand, and vendor quality.

  • Support resolution of escalated supply shortages.

  • Identify and implement supply base improvements to meet short- and long-term production needs.

Shape Strategy

  • Help build long-term commercial relationships with strategic suppliers while delivering business metrics.

  • Build internal stakeholder relationships to understand sourcing needs across the business.

  • Analyze data and generate reports to drive spend visibility and identify supply base optimization opportunities.

  • Participate in developing, reviewing, and approving supplier selection methodologies (category strategy).

  • Develop expertise in relevant manufacturing processes, materials, applications, and industry trends.

Optimize Value

  • Research market dynamics, cost drivers, supplier business models, and historical spend to strengthen negotiations for assigned categories and contracts.

  • Conduct and share cost breakdown analyses to support unit-cost negotiations and drive the best overall cost and commercial terms.

  • Support PPV reviews, standard settings, and commodity and financial reviews.

  • Understand shifting business priorities — such as supply shortages or excess inventory — and adjust focus accordingly.

  • Help build long-term commercial relationships with strategic suppliers while delivering business metrics.

  • Build internal stakeholder relationships to understand sourcing needs across the business.

  • Analyze data and generate reports to drive spend visibility and identify supply base optimization opportunities.

  • Participate in developing, reviewing, and approving supplier selection methodologies (category strategy).

  • Develop expertise in relevant manufacturing processes, materials, applications, and industry trends.

Drive Innovation Sourcing

  • Support new product development projects.

  • Proactively coordinate the supplier selection and qualification process.

  • Partner with Value Engineering (VE) teams on process, supplier, and capacity development.

  • Prepare and execute RFQs and analyze quotations and bids.

What You Bring

  • 1+ years of experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering.

  • A determined, self-driven, and resourceful approach to problem-solving.

  • Ability to react quickly and stay effective in a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of breaking down complex issues and aligning stakeholders around next steps.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
