About the Role: Floor Coverings International of Lowell is looking for an experienced Sheet Vinyl Installer to provide professional installation services for our ongoing projects in the Greater Lowell area.

We’re seeking a reliable, skilled installer who takes pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail. You’ll complete sheet vinyl installations directly in customer's homes, ensuring each project is done professionally and efficiently. We’re looking to build long-term relationships with reliable professionals. Projects are scheduled based on customer needs and contractor availability.

Rates Sheet Vinyl: $5-$12 per Sq Yd

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and install sheet vinyl

• Prepare and level subfloors

• Apply adhesives and create clean seams

• Install transitions and trim

• Ensure quality and professional finishes

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Communicate professionally with customers

Requirements:

• Proven experience: demonstrate expertise in the flooring application that you specialize in

• Reliable transportation and tools: You must have your own transportation and tools to do the jobs you’re contracted for. Must have to ability to deliver materials to the job site and haul away waste

• Punctuality: We understand that things happen; but we want to make sure that we all agree on a time we can confidently relay that to the client

• Attention to detail: Top notch workmanship and an eye for detail

• Customer service skills: Excellent communication with a service-oriented attitude

• Proficient in English: Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

Contractor Status:

• This is a 1099 independent contractor/subcontractor position, not a W-2 employee position

• Installer will be responsible for providing their own standard tools and reliable transportation

• Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and other applicable business expenses

• Work is scheduled on a project-by-project basis based on customer needs and availability

• Compensation and project details will be discussed during the interview process
