City/State Elizabeth City, NC Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Coordinator for the Emergency Department (ED). Elevate your career!

Hours/Shift: 36-hours, Days

Education

  • Degree or Diploma in Registered Nursing

  • Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN

Certification/Licensure

  • Registered nursing License (Required)

  • BLS required within 90 days of hire

Experience

  • 18-months of RN experience is required

​ RN Unit Coordinators demonstrate proficiency in nursing practice for assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. Under the direction of the department manager leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Increase staff satisfaction and promotes excellent (Gold Standard) customer service.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $47.42 - $68.63 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
