What Production Operation contributes to Cardinal Health
Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.
Responsibilities

The Process Inspector conducts quality checks on the produced product to ensure there are no visible defects
-
Visually inspects in-process/finished material while operating – informs designated teammates of any machine malfunction or defective product
-
Accurately manages traceability information, production information, cleaning documentation, and safety check documentation in the company system with a detail-oriented and quality-focused approach
-
Starts machines, observes for correct operation, adjusts, and starts general troubleshooting as needed
-
Moves empty and full bags/totes/boxes to and from the machine, adds labels/weighs product/verifies count/adds to box/inserts into shipper as needed, and stacks onto pallet

Practices department’s medical manufacturing and housekeeping procedures and complete cleaning verification checklists as required

Read, write, comprehend, and follow specifications, procedures, and instructions written in English

Collaborate effectively with team members, utilizing strong interpersonal skills to foster a positive and productive team environment

Assist with other duties as assigned with or without accommodation

Work overtime as required
Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or GED, preferred
-
1+ years related work experience and/or training, preferred

Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications

Works on routine assignments that require some problem resolution
