Job Description
We are seeking an Intermediate Electrical Technician for a contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have 2-5+ years of relevant experience and a strong foundation in electronics, supporting RF and digital systems integration activities. Responsibilities will include testing, troubleshooting, and working with electronic payloads, including uploading digital data into payload systems. While some digital experience is required, advanced programming skills are not mandatory. Candidates must be located in a French-speaking environment and be eligible to obtain required security clearances.
Skills and Requirements
2-5+ years of experience as an Electrical Technician (Intermediate level) Diploma in Electronics Technology (Technical College/CEGEP equivalent) or a minimum of 8 years of relevant electronics experience Strong foundation in electronics and electronic troubleshooting Experience using a Digital Multimeter (DMM) for testing and diagnostics Familiarity with RF test equipment, including: Vector Network Analyzers (VNA) Performance Network Analyzers (PNA) Signal Generators Experience using Oscilloscopes for electronic and RF testing Ability to support digital payload integration and data uploading activities Fluent French communication skills (spoken and written) Eligible for Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and Reliability Status clearance Experience working with RF systems and RF testing environments Exposure to digital electronics and embedded systems Basic programming knowledge Aerospace, defense, satellite, or payload integration experience Experience with additional electronic test and measurement equipment Previous experience working in a controlled or security-cleared environment Candidates with extensive hands-on electronics experience who do not possess a formal diploma (provided they meet the experience requirements)
