The Office of the District Attorney is recruiting for the position of District Attorney Commander to plan, organize, assign and manage, through subordinate supervisors, the activities of sworn and non-sworn staff in one or more criminal and/or civil investigative units within the Bureau of Investigation.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Travel: A valid California Class C Driver License is required to carry out the essential job-related functions of this position. Mileage reimbursement and proof of automobile liability insurance must be maintained.

Applicants Must Meet All Of The Following:
Certificate: Must possess a current CA P.O.S.T. Supervisory Certificate or higher.
Education: Associate's Degree (or equivalent units) from an accredited university or college in Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, Criminology, Law Enforcement, Business Administration, Behavioral Science, Social Science or closely related field.
Experience: One (1) year of experience in San Bernardino County as a District Attorney Supervising Investigator.
A Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Administration of Justice, Criminology, Law Enforcement, Business Administration, Behavioral Science, Social Science or closely related field is preferred. Examination Process: There will be a competitive evaluation of qualifications based on the information provided in the Application and the Supplemental Questionnaire. You are encouraged to include detailed descriptions of your qualifying experience, as only the most highly qualified applicants will be referred to the Department.
