Job Title: Senior Human Resources Representative Department: Human Resources Reports To: CHRO FLSA Status: Exempt SUMMARY The Senior Human Resources Representative provides comprehensive human resources support and guidance to employees, supervisors, and managers across the organization. This position serves as a knowledgeable resource for employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, HR policies and procedures, compliance, and employee engagement. The Senior Human Resources Representative works collaboratively with management and the Human Resources team to address employee needs, resolve workplace concerns, and ensure consistent and effective application of HR practices. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. + Knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and procedures. + Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. + Strong employee relations and conflict-resolution skills. + Ability to coach and advise supervisors and managers on HR matters. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization. + Strong organizational and time-management skills. + Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. + Ability to interpret and consistently apply HR policies and procedures. + Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications. + Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team. + Ability to exercise sound judgment and make appropriate recommendations regarding employee and organizational matters. + Supports the mission, goals, behaviors of excellence and objectives of Welia Health through own actions and motivates others to do the same. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility. However, the Senior Human Resources Representative provides functional guidance, coaching, and support to employees, supervisors, and managers regarding human resources policies, procedures, employee relations, performance management, and other HR-related matters. The position may also provide training and guidance to HR team members and coordinate HR projects or initiatives as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of five years of progressive human resources experience. Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience in employee relations, performance management, recruitment, onboarding, HR policy administration, and employment compliance is strongly preferred. Experience working with HRIS systems and maintaining confidential employee records is also preferred. Previous experience in healthcare preferred CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Professional certification in Human Resources is preferred, such as SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management – Senior Certified Professional) or SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) . Other relevant HR, employment law, organizational development, or leadership certifications may also be considered. Welia Health is an equal-opportunity employer.
