Full job description

The East Rochester Athletic Program is recruiting for a Winter Modified Track Coach. We are searching for a transformational coach who can connect with our student-athletes and support them in developing their skills.

Job Qualifications

Candidates should:

  • Have strong leadership skills, a positive, education-based approach,

  • Have the ability to teach fundamental skills and team concepts

  • Be able to interact with student-athletes of different ages and skill levels positively and professionally.

  • Demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as staff are considered role models for students.

  • Motivate and mentor student-athletes.

Coaching Requirements:

  • A valid New York State teaching certificate in Physical Education (K-12) or another teaching area.

  • A Professional Coaching Certificate or eligibility for a Temporary Coaching License.

  • Valid and appropriate First Aid, CPR, and AED certificates for coaches at the time of appointment.

  • Willingness to complete the Identification and Reporting of Child Abuse and SAVE Workshops within the first year of coaching.
