Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

Lead accounting tasks including:

  • Month end close procedures (profit and loss/balance sheet reconciliations, external reporting etc.);

  • Audit coordination and completion across multiple jurisdictions;

  • Liaising with external financial statement preparers across multiple jurisdictions;

  • Tax obligation management across multiple jurisdictions;

  • Budgeting/forecasting;

  • Oracle migration project

  • Enhancing financial system capabilities;

  • Drive process and procedure improvement (including enhancing control environment); and

  • Executing other Finance initiatives

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Developing and providing leadership/oversight to the Financial Accountant;

  • Driving improvement of accounting support schedules;

  • Monitoring and improving control environment;

  • Assisting in executing strategic plans; and

  • Constructing, presenting and providing commentary on reports to senior management.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accountancy, Business Administration or other related fields

  • Professional accounting certification like CPA will be advantageous

  • Proactive, hands-on individual with strong ownership and accountability.

  • Strong technical expertise in financial and management accounting.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide strategic business insights.

  • Effective presentation and communication skills, including the ability to engage senior management.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
