Scrum Master

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Scrum Master for a top financial services client. This individual will support highly technical engineering teams, including a DevOps pipeline team and an iOS authentication team, while facilitating Agile ceremonies and maintaining Agile best practices. The ideal candidate brings strong Jira expertise, experience managing backlogs and sprint processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders. This role is best suited for a servant leader who can remove blockers, drive continuous improvement, support Agile transformation efforts, and help maximize team delivery within a fast-paced enterprise environment. The teams are largely self-driven, so the Scrum Master will focus on facilitation, coaching, stakeholder communication, metrics reporting, and ensuring Agile discipline across the organization.

• Facilitate daily standups and Agile ceremonies
• Manage and maintain team backlogs
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
• Remove blockers and impediments impacting team delivery
• Support a DevOps pipeline team and an iOS authentication team
• Track and report Agile metrics, team performance, and sprint progress
• Coach teams on Agile best practices and process discipline
• Communicate team value, progress, and risks to stakeholders and leadership
• Ensure alignment between technical teams and business objectives
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across supported teams

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of Scrum Master experience (flexible for strong candidates with demonstrated results)
• Strong Jira experience
• Agile/Scrum facilitation experience
• Backlog management and backlog refinement
• Sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and Agile ceremonies
• Executive-level communication skills
• Strong stakeholder management and communication
• Metrics tracking and reporting
• Experience supporting highly technical teams
• Agile transformation experience
• Change management experience
• Experience supporting DevOps teams
• Experience supporting infrastructure-focused teams
• Experience supporting software development organizations
