The mission of the Engineering Chief Operating Officer (COO) Office is to identify, evaluate, and address strategic challenges and operational risks affecting the Engineering department. The Office formulates and executes targeted interventions to mitigate or resolve these issues, typically necessitating cross-departmental alignment and engagement with key external stakeholders.

To fulfill this mission, we:

• Direct and oversee department-wide programs and projects initiated within Engineering.

• Partner with Engineering leadership to architect solutions and cultivate adoption.

• Establish governance policies and drive organizational compliance.

• Fill gaps in the organization, owning processes that don't fit naturally in an Engineering department or require continuous collaboration across department boundaries

We invite applications from highly qualified, innovative, and technically proficient Senior Full-Stack Qlik Sense Cloud Engineers to architect, design, and scale the portfolio of Engineering COO Qlik Applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of enhancing enterprise Business Intelligence through the integration of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies to support executive decision-making. Working closely with Product Owners, you will translate strategic business objectives into robust, scalable technical architectures and deliver comprehensive full-stack solutions. Key responsibilities include overseeing enterprise data architecture and pipelines (Back-End) and designing executive-level analytical interfaces (Front-End). Furthermore, you will play a critical role in advancing an AI-ready data infrastructure, establishing resilient data pipelines, and implementing bespoke analytics solutions for senior executive leadership and operational management across the enterprise.

• Trusted Advisor: Partner to a broad array of senior stakeholders with a goal of translating business objectives into intuitive applications that highlight opportunities and accelerate data driven decisions.

• Advanced Visualizations & Set Analysis: Engineer sophisticated Set Analysis expressions, dynamic dimensions, bookmarkable states, and custom measures to drive highly interactive, fluid analytical experiences across complex datasets.

• Data Modeling & Pipelines: Architect scalable, access controlled, normalized, high quality data architectures, and write robust ETL load scripts connecting to heterogeneous enterprise data sources, including SQL databases, data warehouses, and big data lakes. Implement a semantic data layer and medallionized data framework.

• Leverage Qlik Cloud Exclusive Features: Accelerate actionable insights that lead to decisions using Qlik Answers (NLP), App Automations, Alerting, and Qlik Predict.

• App Automation & System Integration: Design and maintain automated workflows using Qlik Application Automation and REST APIs to orchestrate data reloads, enable write-back capabilities, and integrate seamlessly with other systems. Support an MCP AI enabled future.

• Performance Optimization & Governance: Fine-tune memory footprints, script execution times, and data refresh cycles for large-scale applications while implementing granular Row-Level Security (Section Access), robust data governance, and role-based user entitlement structures to protect sensitive risk and operational data.

Qualifications

You’ll Need to Have:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing, architecting, and deploying Qlik Sense Enterprise or Qlik Cloud applications, ETL tools and data pipeline development

• Working knowledge of secure Data handling, governance, lineage, and access controls

• Advanced SQL skills, dimensional data modeling expertise, and experience crafting complex ETL scripts and data pipelines. Proficiency in advanced Set Analysis, UI/UX best practices, extensions/mashups, Write Tables

• Strong written, oral, visual communication skills to partner directly with business and technical stakeholders to translate complex objectives and requirements into scalable analytics solutions.

• Project management experience in mapping requirements to tasks and a predictable schedule

• Working familiarity with AI Tools such as Claude Code, ChatGPT, and Gemini in daily workflows

We’d Love to See:

• Consulting experience with demonstrated success solving diverse analytics challenges across multiple organizations, industries, or functions

• Domain Knowledge in Technology Risk & Operational Resilience:

• Familiarity with risk, controls, and risk mitigation frameworks.

• Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks such as DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act), NIST, or ISO 27001.

• Experience building analytics for issue tracking, audit finding, and remediation plans

• Advanced Qlik Cloud & AI Capabilities:

• Exposure to Qlik Cloud advanced features including Insight Advisor, Qlik Predict (AutoML), and Qlik Answers, MCP Connectors, Extensions.

• Additional BI & Tech Stack:

• Exposure to other BI environments (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Superset) and enterprise database technologies (e.g., Greenplum, Hive, Snowflake).

• Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Python) for custom

Salary Range = 160,000 - 220,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
