Full job description
Care Coordinator – Join Our Fun, Family-Oriented Office Team in Southwest Florida! Griswold Care Pairing for Southwest Florida is growing quickly, and we’re excited to welcome a new member to our close-knit office family. If you’re passionate about making a real difference in the lives of families during challenging times, thrive in a dynamic environment, and enjoy coming into a supportive, upbeat office every day, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! As a Care Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our operations in a role that blends meaningful customer service, relationship-building, scheduling, and case management. You’ll help ensure our clients receive compassionate, high-quality care while working alongside a team that feels like family. This is an in-office position full of variety — from engaging phone conversations and team collaboration to occasional community visits — in a fun, collaborative setting where your contributions are valued and celebrated daily. What You’ll Do: * Partner with our Office Manager on scheduling, marketing, recruiting, and key administrative tasks that keep our office running smoothly. * Conduct thoughtful telephone intakes and initial home visits (using our company vehicle) with new or prospective clients — explaining our services and helping secure service agreements. * Perform follow-up visits with existing clients to ensure their satisfaction and the highest quality of care. * Manage all scheduling needs, including caregiver placements, replacements, and substitutions. * Resolve client, family, and caregiver concerns with empathy, professionalism, and creative problem-solving. * Maintain accurate, up-to-date client and caregiver files to support compliance with internal, state, and federal standards. * Screen, interview, and thoughtfully match caregivers to clients’ unique needs. What You’ll Bring: * A nurturing, empathetic heart and genuine compassion for others. * Excellent communication skills with a warm, professional phone presence. * High emotional intelligence and strong problem-solving abilities. * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and solid documentation habits. * Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, varied, and rewarding role where no two days are exactly alike. What We Offer: * Competitive salary and benefits package, including 6 paid holidays, sick time, and vacation days. * Health Insurance and 401k Retirement Plan. * Performance bonus opportunities. * Additional perks: Employee Assistance Program, AFLAC, and TelaDoc. Why Griswold? At Griswold, our mission is to help clients “live assured” — supporting their independence with the peace of mind that comes from reliable, compassionate care. You’ll play a vital role in connecting wonderful caregivers with families who need them, all while being part of a fun, family-oriented office culture that values work-life balance, teamwork, and making a positive impact every day. We are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status. Important Note on Employment: Employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. To learn more about background screening requirements, visit the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) resources at: https://ahca.myflorida.com/health-quality-assurance/bureau-of-central-services/background-screening/clearinghouse (or the Clearinghouse Results site at https://crw.flclearinghouse.com/). Ready to bring your energy and compassion to a team that feels like home? Apply today and help us continue growing our Southwest Florida family! We look forward to meeting you.
