Job Description

This role will join a small but rapidly growing IT team reporting into the Director of IT. The organization has made significant investments in Salesforce and is heavily focused on optimizing and scaling its platform as the business continues to grow. The Senior Salesforce Developer will help divide ownership of a large workload and play a critical role in the company's Salesforce transformation roadmap. They are seeking someone who can hit the ground running, bring senior-level expertise, and provide structure and guidance to a younger development team.

Skills and Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional software development experience, including 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development in complex production environments.

  • Advanced proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, Flow, Salesforce APIs, and the Salesforce security model.

  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions.

  • Strong understanding of platform architecture, governor limits, transaction behavior, asynchronous processing, integrations, sharing and security, and application performance.

  • Significant experience with Git in a multi-developer environment, including pull requests, peer reviews, branching strategies, and release management.

  • Experience implementing or operating Salesforce CI/CD processes, Salesforce DX, Salesforce CLI, and source-driven development.

  • Experience managing Salesforce metadata and deployments across multiple environments.

  • Demonstrated experience establishing or improving software development lifecycle practices.

  • Experience mentoring developers and introducing engineering practices to an existing team.

  • Ability to contribute to architecture and solution design while remaining an active hands-on developer.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across application, platform, integration, and data layers.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining technical decisions and tradeoffs to technical and nontechnical audiences.

  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.

  • Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, or related architecture credentials.

  • Relevant Salesforce Revenue Cloud certifications.

  • Experience with enterprise integration platforms and event-driven architectures.

  • Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, finance, data warehouse or lakehouse, e-commerce, or other enterprise platforms
