Full job description

Summary

This position is located at Leilehua Golf Course, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii (Island of Oahu). Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Duties

  • Assists management with the operation of facility in accordance with established procedures.
  • Issues, receives and controls cash receipts and change funds; verifies cash count of funds turned in by cashiers.
  • Determines cash shortage or overages. Submits daily report of operations. Completes Daily Activity Report.
  • Assures only authorized patrons utilize the facilities. Completes fire safety checks and secures the facility.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following for: Minimum Qualification Criteria: Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items. Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages applicant must meet state/local age requirements (21 years of age) for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment. Skill in providing customer service. Ability to communicate effectively. Resume MUST clearly reflect the knowledge and experience listed under the minimum qualification criteria above. High Qualification Criteria: Must be familiar with golf industry and its operations. Must possess knowledge of computer programs such as RecTrac or other similar programs. Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the following areas: Ability to identify items by brand and category. Tracking inventory orders and shipments Assigning items to categories and assisting with price setting 4. Experienced in using software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel or other similar computer programs. NOTE: Applicants who meet both minimum qualification criteria and highly qualification criteria will be referred to the selecting official for first consideration.
