WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Partner with Payroll, HRIS, Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Benefits, and site leadership to resolve employee needs and support continuous improvement across the facility.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees and leaders, providing timely guidance on HR policies, workplace concerns, employee relations, and day-to-day people needs.

  • Partner with the Plant Manager to forecast workforce needs, translate staffing plans into clear hiring priorities, and collaborate with the dedicated recruiter to support timely hiring for frontline and site-based positions.

  • Coordinate and facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding to create a welcoming, organized, and consistent experience for new hires.

  • Conduct timely, objective, and well-documented workplace investigations, partnering with HR leadership and other appropriate resources when needed.

  • Coach leaders through performance management, attendance, corrective action, employee concerns, and other workplace matters while reinforcing accountability and consistent practices.

  • Support employee engagement, retention, training, and culture initiatives that strengthen the employee experience and align with what we value.

  • Drive post-acquisition HR harmonization by implementing company programs, processes, and practices at the site and supporting leaders and employees through the transition.

YOU HAVE:

  • Minimum HS Diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/Business or related field or equivalent experience is preferred

  • 3+ years previous experience in or with human resources is required

  • Knowledge of pay and employment laws, practices, and legal requirements

  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with people at all levels within the organization and outside the organization

  • Ability to confidently and constructively challenge partners on business decisions, bringing an objective perspective, data-driven insights, and consideration of both business and people impacts
