Job Descriptions:

Aviation & Missile Solutions, LLC. (AMS) is seeking a talented FMS Program Analyst to join our diverse team, in Huntsville, AL., to create unique solutions for complex problems.

AMS provides responsive, cost-effective engineering and scientific solutions ranging from air and missile defense technologies, command and control, radar systems, seekers, modeling & simulation, and prototype hardware development and testing.

The selected candidate will provide program management support to the Army Program Office responsible for the management of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs.

The primary duties to include:

  • Directly responsible for providing International Program Support to the program manager.

  • Responds to Letters of Request (LORs) to provide Requests for Information (RFI), Price and Availability (P&A), and Letters of Acceptance (LOA) data.

  • Tracks program/project status and schedules; applies policies and procedures for financial planning.

  • Performs program management, technical, and business case analyses.

  • Analyzes program requirements, status, budget and schedules.

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, agendas, boards.

  • Draft presentations in various formats to present results of analysis.

Required Experience:

Basic Qualifications (required):

  • Resident of the Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate.

  • Candidates with at least 5 years of applicable Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program management experience in a product office.

  • Knowledge of FMS systems to include Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS) and General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).

  • Knowledge of US Army acquisition processes.

  • The successful candidate will be highly organized, flexible and must demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to meet suspense's.

  • Candidate must be able to work with minimum guidance in addressing actions, and then use their own knowledge, ingenuity, innovation and experience to complete the product.

  • Candidate must be able to travel periodically with trips that may be up to a week in length.

  • High understanding of MS Office product line to include familiarity with Microsoft Project.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration / management field, or certification as an administrative professional is desired.

  • Experience working in Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) or Program Office is desired

  • Excellent written and verbal communication’s skills, people skills and enthusiasm are important, as well as the ability to handle a variety of tasks in a team environment.

Security Requirements:

  • Candidate must be a US citizen.

  • Must be able to meet the eligibility to obtain and maintain) a security clearance.
