Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an experienced Java/Informatica Technical Lead to provide direction and leadership to a development team supporting enterprise applications. This individual will lead technical design and development efforts while remaining hands-on with Java, Informatica, and related technologies.

Work Location: Remote

Shift Schedule: 8am - 5pm Eastern Standard Time (EST)

What You Will Do:

  • Provide overall technical direction and leadership to the development team.

  • Lead application architecture, design, development, unit testing, implementation, and production support.

  • Design and develop solutions using Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Informatica, and JBoss.

  • Develop and integrate cloud-based solutions using AWS services, including EC2, S3, SDS, DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda, and AWS CLI.

  • Design, deploy, and support containerized services using OpenShift and Kubernetes.

  • Guide developers on technical design, coding standards, architecture, and development best practices.

  • Review technical designs and code to ensure quality, scalability, security, and performance.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, integration, and technical issues.

  • Collaborate with business, technical, architecture, and project teams throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Mentor developers and provide technical guidance to support successful application delivery.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust level clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 8+ years of experience, or a High School diploma/equivalent and 12+ years of experience.

  • 8+ years of application development experience, including experience leading technical development teams.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java 17 or higher, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, SDS, DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda, and AWS CLI.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Informatica.

  • Experience developing and supporting containerized services using OpenShift and Kubernetes.

  • Demonstrated experience serving as a Technical Lead and/or Architect.

  • Experience with application design, development, unit testing, implementation, troubleshooting, and production support.

  • Strong technical leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting both front-end and back-end application development.

  • Strong Java/JBoss experience.

  • Experience leading full-stack development efforts within complex enterprise environments.

  • Experience working within Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional technical teams.

Target Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
