Student Experience Coordinator Position Summary

The Student Experience Coordinator plays a key role in developing and enhancing the student pipeline at Mary Greeley Medical Center through meaningful educational and career-focused experiences. This position coordinates clinical rotations, internships, job shadows, career exploration opportunities, and outreach activities while serving as the primary liaison between educational partners and organizational leaders.

The Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for students, instructors, and interns, maintaining accurate program data, fostering strong relationships with school partners, and supporting workforce development initiatives. Success in this role requires exceptional communication, organization, collaboration, and a passion for creating positive student experiences that support future healthcare career pathways.

Primary Responsibilities Student Experience & Program Coordination

  • Serve as the primary liaison between educational institutions and department leaders for all student experiences.

  • Coordinate clinical rotations, internships, job shadows, career days, school visits, and other student engagement opportunities.

  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation processes for students, instructors, and interns.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for students, interns, instructors, and department leaders throughout the student experience lifecycle.

  • Conduct follow-up communication with students to ensure a positive and engaging experience.

School Partnerships & Compliance

  • Initiate, maintain, and renew affiliation agreements with educational partners.

  • Monitor compliance with affiliation agreement requirements and performance measures.

  • Foster collaborative relationships with schools, universities, and community partners to strengthen talent pipelines.

Recruitment & Workforce Development

  • Partner with the Human Resources Recruitment Team to identify workforce needs and develop student-to-employee pipeline opportunities.

  • Assist in identifying and coordinating outreach opportunities with local schools, colleges, and universities.

  • Support student recruitment initiatives designed to attract future healthcare professionals to Mary Greeley Medical Center.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate student tracking data, participation records, and conversion metrics.

  • Coordinate data collection and reporting for the annual Student Experience Report.

  • Analyze feedback and program outcomes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and administer evaluation processes for students, preceptors, and educational partners.

  • Compile and distribute evaluation reports to department leaders and school partners.

  • Utilize feedback to enhance student experiences and strengthen hiring pipeline outcomes.

Marketing & Engagement

  • Assist with creating and maintaining content for the Student Experience SharePoint site and external website.

  • Collaborate on social media initiatives that highlight student experiences and internship opportunities.

  • Plan and support student-focused events, including facility tours, High School Days, National Intern Day, and other engagement activities.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on projects and initiatives that enhance the overall student experience.

  • Serve as a backup resource for agency and contract staff coordination and onboarding activities.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or a minimum of four years of related experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals and groups.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Healthcare Administration, Education, Communications, or a related field.

  • Experience coordinating educational programs, internships, recruiting activities, workforce development initiatives, or student programs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to interact professionally and tactfully with students, educators, leaders, and community partners.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of general office practices, procedures, and equipment.

  • Proficiency in customer service and relationship-building.

Preferred

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

  • Experience with data tracking, reporting, and program analytics.

  • Experience managing social media content or recruitment marketing initiatives.

  • Experience presenting to a variety of audiences
