$80-$90 per hour

Madison, WI

Contract

Duration: 12 months

Schedule:

Must be available and work Central Time Zone business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CT). Full-time dedication during core business hours is required.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for the successful initiation, planning, development, administration, risk management, implementation, control, and closure of large-sized projects across multiple business units.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and utilize project management methodologies and processes for project delivery to achieve scope, schedule, and cost objectives while effectively managing risks.

  • Determine specific business needs and deliverables of a project, establish and manage costs, resources, performance measurements, timeline, and project deliverables.

  • Manage applicable project contracts in conjunction with sourcing personnel including preparing RFPs, evaluating responses, participating in negotiations, interpreting contract language, and handling finances.

  • Develop and execute communication and stakeholder management plans related to projects.

  • Ensure training needs are met for project team members and users of the project.

  • Ensure operational teams are properly trained, work orders are closed, finance charges are handled, and a smooth transition of deliverables occurs upon project completion.

  • Provide support and mentorship in organizational change management methodology within the context of program and project management.

Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of IT/Technology Project Management experience required. Prefer a candidate with ten (10) years of experience.

Skillsets :

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale, high-dollar, multi-year software technology projects.

  • Ability to identify, plan, coordinate, and drive work across multiple IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

  • Strong risk, issue, dependency, and escalation management skills.

  • Experience managing third-party vendors, consulting partners, system integrators, and contract resources.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project expected.

Education :

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
