What You Will Do

At Raytheon, we don’t build software just to meet requirements we build it to give our warfighters an edge in environments where adaptability, speed, and precision matter most. On the Next Generation RF Sensors team in McKinney, Texas, your work directly enables software-defined sensor systems with a focus of deploying mission-critical solutions

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software-defined capabilities supporting next-generation RF sensor systems in a fast-paced Agile environment.

• Work onsite in McKinney, TX

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.

• Software development experience with C, C++ Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with Red Hat Linux or equivalent OS

• Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
