Full job description

Description

The Staff ROW Records Specialist manages right of way (ROW) records and document control activities to support acquisition, construction, audits, payments, and project closeout. The Staff ROW Records Specialist role verifies records accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness while coordinating with ROW, title, and legal, and finance teams.

  • Manage ROW records throughout the document lifecycle, from creation through closeout and retention.

  • Maintain ROW records management systems, tracking logs, and databases.

  • Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant ROW records in alignment with legal, regulatory, and project requirements.

  • Support audits by producing complete and well-organized ROW records.

  • Coordinate with acquisition and finance teams to support payment documentation.

  • Identify discrepancies or gaps in records and coordinate corrections.

  • Support project closeout by verifying all ROW records are finalized, recorded, and archived.

  • Maintain compliance with company and project-specific safety policies, protocols, and training requirements.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 11 years related experience.

  • Or, Associate Degree in related field and 10 years related experience.

  • Or, Bachelor Degree in Records Management, Business, or related field and 8 years related experience required.

  • Experience in records management, ROW documentation, land services, or real estate administration required.

  • Proficient in the use of computer software (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Working knowledge of ROW records, legal descriptions, and recording requirements.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills.

  • Familiarity with audits, payment processing, or closeout documentation.

  • Ability to travel to project sites, as required.

  • Valid driver’s license required.

Compensation

$34.00-40.00 Yearly

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
