Total Rewards Program Manager

What You’ll Be Doing

The Total Rewards Program Manager leads benefits projects, process improvements, vendor management, and program utilization and communications. Leverages data and employee feedback to identify trends and enhance program effectiveness. The Total Rewards Program Manager also supports global benefits initiatives, leave administration, and wellbeing strategies that promote employee engagement and organizational success.

During a Typical Day, You’ll

Benefits Process Improvement

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline benefits and leave administration processes.

  • Assess current-state processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement scalable solutions that improve employee and administrative experiences.

  • Drive process standardization across geographies while maintaining local compliance requirements.

  • Develop and maintain process documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions for benefits administration issues.

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement through best practices, benchmarking, employee feedback, and data-driven decision-making.

Benefits Projects Management

  • Lead benefits-related projects, including process transformation initiatives.

  • Develop project plans, manage timelines, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure successful execution of initiatives.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements that improve operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.

  • Manage change management and communication activities associated with benefits projects.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.

Benefits Administration

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of health, wellness, retirement, and voluntary benefit programs.

  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to benefits offerings based on employee needs, market trends, and business objectives.

  • Ensure effective administration of benefit plans, policies, and employee communications.

  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, local, and international benefits regulations.

Leave of Absence Management

  • Oversee the administration of U.S. and global leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and other statutory and company-sponsored leaves.

  • Establish and maintain leave policies, procedures, and governance standards.

  • Partner with third-party administrators and vendors to ensure timely and compliant leave administration.

  • Track leave metrics, identify trends, and develop recommendations to improve employee experience and operational effectiveness.

Wellbeing Programs:

  • Develop and manage wellbeing programs focused on physical, emotional, mental, and financial health, drive employee engagement and promote a culture of wellbeing.

  • Monitor participation, claims, and wellbeing metrics to identify emerging trends and opportunities for wellbeing program enhancements.

  • Coordinate wellness campaigns, educational resources, and awareness activities.

  • Partner with vendors to deliver innovative wellbeing solutions and resources.

What You Bring to the Role

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in benefits administration, leave management, and wellbeing programs.

  • Demonstrated experience leading benefits projects and process improvement initiatives.

  • Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs, leave regulations, and compliance requirements.

  • Experience partnering with vendors and managing external service providers.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting global benefits programs across multiple countries.

  • Experience designing and managing wellbeing programs.

  • CEBS, SHRM-CP or related certifications.
