Inpatient Pharmacist

16-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 7-On / 7-Off Schedule

Are you an experienced inpatient pharmacist looking for your next travel opportunity? We are seeking a confident, clinically focused pharmacist to join a respected acute care hospital for a 16-week assignment with a highly desirable 7-on / 7-off night schedule .

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness

  • Monitor medication therapy and provide clinical recommendations

  • Perform pharmacokinetic and renal dosing adjustments

  • Support antimicrobial stewardship and anticoagulation management

  • Prepare and verify sterile compounded medications

  • Ensure safe medication dispensing and distribution

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

  • Educate staff and patients regarding medication therapy and safety

Preferred Experience

  • Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience

  • Medication order verification experience

  • Sterile IV compounding experience

  • Experience with automated dispensing systems

  • Familiarity with electronic medical records

  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Minimum Requirements

  • Current Pharmacist license in state of practice

  • Minimum one year of pharmacist experience preferred

  • Compliance with all professional practice standards

  • Current CPR certification if required

  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
