LSI Staffing is HIRING an Operations & Compliance Coordinator at our client in La Porte TX. Must have experince.
Starting pay 55K and UP depending on Experience.

Position Summary
The Driver Operations & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and follow-through of driver recruiting, onboarding, compliance, training, safety, incidents, and driver records. This position works closely with Operations, Safety, Human Resources, Maintenance, Payroll, Accounts Payable, insurance providers, and the Driver Liaison to ensure driver-related matters are properly documented, communicated, and completed.
Key Responsibilities
Driver Compliance & Safety

Monitor driver compliance with company policies, DOT/FMCSA requirements, safety expectations, and operational procedures.

Track roadside inspections, violations, citations, write-ups, corrective actions, and other compliance matters.

Coordinate disciplinary documentation and follow-up with Operations, Safety, and Human Resources.

Coordinate driver safety meetings, evaluations, spot checks, and corrective training as needed.
Recruiting, Onboarding & Training

Coordinate driver recruiting needs, initial screenings, interviews, and pre-employment requirements.

Review and coordinate required PSP, background, driving history, and qualification information.

Manage driver onboarding, orientation, road tests, required training, and new-hire documentation.

Track driver assessments and ensure training records are maintained in Luma, Samsara, Iris, or other company systems.
Accidents, Incidents & Roadside Events
-
Coordinate documentation and follow-up for driver accidents, incidents, roadside violations, and citations.

Assist with investigations and ensure required documentation is collected and maintained.

Coordinate with Safety, Operations, insurance providers, legal counsel, Maintenance, and leadership as needed.

Track open matters through completion and identify recurring trends requiring corrective action.
Equipment & Maintenance Follow-Up

Coordinate with Operations and Maintenance regarding driver-reported equipment concerns and preventative maintenance issues.

Follow up on equipment failures related to roadside violations, accidents, or safety concerns.

Ensure corrective actions are documented and recurring equipment concerns are escalated appropriately.
Driver Records & Administration
-
Maintain organized records of driver compliance, training, incidents, violations, disciplinary actions, and other driver-related matters.

Coordinate citation payments, clean inspection bonuses, and other driver-related items with Payroll and Accounts Payable.

Track recurring driver issues and prepare reports or updates for leadership as requested.
-
Identify opportunities to improve driver processes, safety, communication, retention, and operational efficiency.
Driver Liaison Coordination
-
Work closely with the Driver Liaison on driver communication, outreach, orientation support, and follow-up.

Ensure driver concerns are documented and routed to the appropriate department for resolution.

Provide the Driver Liaison with accurate information needed to communicate company expectations to drivers.

Maintain ownership of administrative tracking, documentation, and completion of driver-related processes.
Qualifications
-
Experience in transportation operations, driver compliance, safety, recruiting, fleet administration, or a related field.

Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA requirements and driver qualification processes preferred.

Strong organizational, documentation, communication, and follow-up skills.
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across departments.

Experience with Samsara or similar transportation systems and Microsoft Office preferred.
-
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
