Our business reinforces our drive to improve the lives of people everywhere and epitomizes the "why" of what we do - the tremendous positive impact and value our solutions bring to our communities and our global society. We deliver fully integrated, interdisciplinary solutions to create resilient infrastructure to serve current and future generations.

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in the Southeast. Collaborating with our expert architects and engineers, you’ll design structural systems for a variety of building types including airports, government and mission-critical facilities, data centers, and large-scale manufacturing facilities. Depending on experience, you will either independently execute design tasks or lead technical efforts, mentor team members, and manage aspects of project delivery. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, code-compliant designs while balancing scope, schedule, and budget. Our global network provides access to subject matter experts and opportunities for cross-regional collaboration and travel.

The position is in the Federal Buildings Business Unit, and the project type is majority US Federal Government facilities that are contracted by Department of Defense clients (USACE, NAVFAC, etc.) as well as Federal Civilian clients to include NASA, FAA, GSA, OBO and Intelligence Community amongst many others. The design codes required for design calculations include IBC, ASCE, UFCs and local/client requirements.

  • Master’s degree in civil engineering (BSCE) with a structural emphasis

  • At least 5 years of relevant buildings-related structural design experience

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license

  • Proficiency with structural design and analysis software (e.g., ETABS, RISA, RAM)

  • Thorough knowledge of building codes and standards (e.g., IBC, ASCE)

  • Desire to take independent initiative and ownership of work

  • United States Citizenship

  • Experience with Revit

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Structural Engineer (SE) license

  • Previous DoD experience, basic competency with Unified Facility Criteria (UFC), UFGS and other Government requirements

  • Design Build experience and DBIA certification

  • Clearance or ability to secure a clearance
