All of our system institutions place strong emphasis on service — helping to build healthier, more educated communities in South Carolina and beyond.Inclusive Excellence StatementAdvertised Job SummaryThe Senior Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable institutional, state, and federal regulatory requirements through monitoring and researching compliance matters and implementing applicable policies within the University Controller's Office. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities- Knowledge of the principles, practices, theories, and terminology of accounting, budgeting, and fiscal management.- Knowledge of or demonstrated ability to understand federal and state fiscal accounting processes and regulatory matters.- Knowledge of or demonstrated ability to understand higher education and state government fiscal accounting processes- Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data and reports.- Detail oriented, with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize effectively.- Ability to problem-solve and research effectively.- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications- PeopleSoft or other ERP experience- Higher education experience- Audit experience- Sponsored award and/or contract accounting experience
