Full job description

Responsibilities:

  • Support design work for civil engineering projects: paving, roadways, grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities, site layout, erosion & sediment control

  • Prepare conceptual layouts, drawings, reports, cost estimates, SWPPPs, and stormwater calculations

  • Assist senior staff with project schedules and design/construction issues

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients

  • Attend project meetings and assist with construction administration

  • Develop technical skills and work toward licensure if not yet licensed Qualifications Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Landscape Architecture

  • 6–10 years of relevant experience

  • NYS PE or EIT preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Civil3D or MicroStation

  • HydroCAD or similar stormwater modeling software preferred

  • Excellent teamwork, organization, and communication skills

  • Familiarity with local permitting agencies a plus, especially NYC OOJ - 38165
