Senior Analyst, Merchandising Systems

Job Description: You will be: As part of the Merchandising Systems team, you will play a critical role in driving business performance through the design, development, and execution of world-class merchandising technology solutions. This role is focused on building and supporting scalable systems that support evolving business needs and enable data-driven merchandising decisions.

What you will do:

• Drive the highest levels of customer service and stability.
• Monitor the environment to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex problems impacting service levels.
• Foster technical and procedural excellence within the IT department for Merchandising systems and processes.
• Coordinate with other IT departments to facilitate requirements, objectives, and manage Incidents.
• Participate in after-hours escalations and maintenance as needed.

You also have:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech Computer science or related specialization) and minimum of 5+ years of experience in Software development.
• 5+ years of experience with PL/SQL and UNIX Shell scripting.
• Nice to have Pro*c experience.
• Proficient in Python development.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS.
• Good analytical skills.
• Nice to have Retail experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

• A strong understanding of retail merchandising processes, including planning, buying, allocation, and replenishment.

• Experience in implementing or supporting merchandising or ERP systems.

• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, with a focus on user experience and operational efficiency.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally with business, IT, and vendor teams.

• A mindset focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with campaign execution tools, product lifecycle management, and data governance is a plus.
