Full job description
- This role supports contingent workforce initiatives and related staffing efforts.
Primary Responsibilities
-
Model Construction and Translation: Translate physical parameters, interface specifications, and tactical requirements provided by domain engineers into standardized SysML blocks, activity diagrams, state machines, and parametric constraints within the program's Systems Engineering Model (SEM).
-
DCM & MBSE Standards Adherence: Execute modeling tasks in strict alignment with program modeling guidelines and package boundaries established by the Lead MBSE, utilizing the JIRA-driven Developmental Change Management (DCM) workflow to submit model changes via pull requests.
-
Digital Thread Tool Integration: Coordinate with the Digital Environment Lead (DEL) and contractor counterparts to map model elements to external design and analysis applications (e.g., CATIA, PLM, and specialized simulation packages), establishing unbroken Digital Threads.
