Job Title: Business Development AssociateJob Description

We are seeking a Business Development Associate to join our aerospace metals distribution business. The successful candidate will support and grow customer accounts by responding to inquiries, managing RFQs, and building relationships. As you develop in this role, you will take ownership of customer relationships, drive account growth, and identify new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer emails and inquiries

  • Manage and respond to RFQs

  • Learn and utilise ERP systems

  • Support customer accounts

  • Forecast customer demand

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships

  • Grow existing accounts and identify new business opportunities

  • Collaborate with internal teams

  • Attend customer meetings as needed

  • Intermediate Excel proficiency

Work Environment

This role is 100% onsite, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break. You will work in a professional office environment with a collaborative team setting, and approximately 10% to 20% travel may be required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Wallingford, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
