  • JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS

  • Job Summary :

  • In coordination with Director, Emergency Department Outcomes Facilitator, and medical staff, provides leadership and direction to emergency department staff to ensure service, quality, safety, and financial goals are met. Maintains clinical skills by assuming clinical patient care assignments as necessary to meet patient flow and departmental needs.

  • Education :

  • BSN or equivalent experience required. MSN, MHA or MBA preferred.

  • Registration/Certification/Licensure :

  • RN - State

CEN desired

  • Experience :

  • Position requires 3-5 years telemetry experience. Position requires 2-3 years supervisory experience in acute care environment.

  • Other Requirements :

  • Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.

  • CPR required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire. CEN and CPEN certifications required within 18 months of hire. Membership in professional Organization (ENA).
