Human Resources Analyst I $54,000 - $67,000 | Hybrid with in-person reporting to Duluth, MN.

Join a role where your work directly supports system reliability, customer experience, and continuous improvement. In this position, you’ll combine analytics, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to identify reliability challenges, support strategic priorities, and help strengthen the electric distribution system.

What You’ll Do

  • Administer and support HRIS processes and programs across payroll, benefits, employment, compensation, and employee relations.

  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and other stakeholders to support monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals, budgeting, and payroll-related reporting.

  • Develop, analyze, and maintain HR data reports for internal stakeholders and external entities, identifying reporting needs and opportunities for process improvement.

  • Coordinate with HR, IT, and vendors to implement, test, maintain, and enhance HRIS applications, including system updates, patches, and upgrades.

  • Conduct surveys and analyze HR programs, policies, and practices to support operational improvements and informed decision-making.

  • Maintain employment records and related documentation in compliance with company policies and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Serve as a resource to employees, retirees, and supervisors by responding to HRIS inquiries and providing guidance on HR policies and processes.

  • Monitor HRIS trends, technology enhancements, and best practices to recommend system and workflow improvements.

  • Completed coursework in human resources management.

  • Experience with enterprise software.

The expected annual compensation range for this position is $54,000 - $67,000. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, and experience. Additionally, this position qualifies for a comprehensive benefits package including:
