Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerised applications.
- Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate operational tasks using Python scripts.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using Grafana, New Relic, and cloud-native monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system reliability and performance.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and IAM policies following security best practices.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes (K8S) fundamentals, including deployments, services, pods, namespaces, and basic troubleshooting.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and operational tasks.
- Experience with Docker for containerization and image management.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability, including: Log monitoring, Metrics collection, Dashboard creation and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana and New Relic.
- Good understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts, including users, roles, permissions, and policies across cloud environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Basic knowledge of Linux system administration.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, and firewalls.
