The Insurance & Records and Archives Management (R.A.M.) Manager manages the entirety of Safran Cabin's insurance management and records and archives management procedures and topics. The role is responsible for implementing and administering the parent company's global insurance programs, in close collaboration with the parent company's Insurance stakeholders. The role manages relationships with brokers, insurers, internal stakeholders, and legal counsel to ensure effective protection against operational, product liability, aviation, property, cyber, and contractual risks associated with aerospace manufacturing and services. R.A.M. duties include the implementation of applicable regulations and group procedures related to records and archives management. Other corporate governance and paralegal duties may be allocated based on the applicant's qualifications.

Candidate skills & requirements

Insurance Management:

  • Acts as liaison between the Safran Group's Risk & Insurance department and Safran Cabin for insurance matters.

  • Reviews and negotiates insurance policies as needed.

  • Evaluates, assesses, and ensures the adequacy of coverage and periodic renewals of insurance policies held by the parent company.

  • Reviews and validates contractual provisions related to insurance and indemnity in customer and vendor agreements.

  • Prepares, submits and files insurance claims for Safran Cabin's sites ensuring prompt resolution of claims and compliance with Group procedures.

  • Maintains, supports and trains a network of site-level insurance correspondents.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

R.A.M. Management:

Acts as Safran Cabin's Records and Archives Management Manager, in close cooperation with Safran Group's Records and Archives Management department in France:

o Manages implementation of record management schedules, requirements, regulations, and Safran Group's procedures;

o Oversees electronic and physical record systems;

o Organizes and maintains a network of records and archives management correspondents at all Safran Cabin sites worldwide; and

o Advises personnel about policies relating to records and archive management.

Other Duties:

  • Manages corporate governance paralegal activities (e.g., filings, notarization etc.), as needed;

  • With support of legal team members, review of contractual documents, such as Non-Disclosure Agreements, to identify any issues or needed changes, as needed.
